Veerasway is a modern Indian restaurant with an upscale yet casual atmosphere that features fresh and approachable Indian Food. We separate ourselves from traditional Indian restaurants by providing a modern approach to everything from the food to the decor. The menu consists of an array of a la carte items so our guests may taste multiple flavors in one sitting. Our menu is arranged by; From the Street of India, Organic Salads, In-Tradition, Rice and Naan, and then our more creative and unique dishes we call our "Indo-American Creations".
Sample Menu Items: Hot Bollywood Chicken Lollipops, Okra Chaat Fry with Red Onions, Cilantro and Chaat Masala Green Papaya and Ripe Mango Salad, Cripsy Banana Peppers stuffed with Lentils and Paneer, Sauteed Scallops with Coconut Milk accented with Crispy Curry Leaves and Red Chiles, Cumin and Pepper blend rubbed Ribeye Kabob with Horseradish Raita and Onion Bhajji, Black Mustard Seed and Lime Pickle Potato Salad, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh and Spring Mutter Paneer.
Veerasway has a creative cocktail menu that includes house favorites such as the Bengali Tiger which highlights our green cardamom, black cardamom, and vanilla bean infused vodka which is mixed with our house tamarind-date puree and a ghost pepper syrup or there is the even more popular Bollywood Rehab that is made with Effen Vodka, Passionfruit Puree, Darjeeling Tea, and Basil Seeds. The Beer menu consists of a selection of beer from the UK and India such as Fuller London Pride Pale Ale, Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout, Kingfisher and Taj Mahal. The wine list is small but nicely picked with selections from the States, South Africa, and India.
Veerasway has been designed by Amelia Briske and her room has a rustic modern style by using wood, raw steel, and large glass Indian lanterns as the framework. Think of colors such as brillant curry yellow, deep tobacco brown, and fresh herbal green. It's an inviting dining room that uses a warm palate of colors, textures, and subtle hints of India.
Veerasway is a restaurant where urban Americans can come to taste and touch a bit of India in a modern and inviting atmosphere.
