Taste of Randolph Street
On Father's Day weekend, Randolph Street comes alive with WLCO’s annual Taste of Randolph Street. This three-day festival showcases top-rated West Loop restaurants, along with world-class entertainment, talented artisans and eclectic vendors, creating a cross-cultural celebration. Always a favorite amongst Chicagoans, the Taste of Randolph Street is undoubtedly a West Loop “must do.”
West Loop Art Fest
This summer festival showcases more than 150 juried artists from across the country in a variety of mediums including paintings, glass, ceramics, photography, and jewelry. This family-friendly summer festival provides attendees the opportunity to create artwork in our interactive art tents, enjoy music on three different stages, and sample great food from local restaurants.
Movies in the Parks
Movies in the Parks in the West Loop offer families a fun way to view their favorite films at Mary Bartelme Park while enjoying the summer weather. With interactive, kid-friendly activities prior to the start of the movie, there’s no better way to spend a night with your family.
WLCO West Loop Nights
West Loop Nights are monthly networking events organized by WLCO and hosted at local restaurants and venues. These West Loop Nights provide an opportunitiy for residents and businesses to get to know one another and share resources.
Randolph Street Market Festival
The Randolph Street Market Festival is home to the world-renowned Chicago Antique Market, Indie Designer Market, Modern Vintage Chicago and Holiday Market. As seen in Travel & Leisure, the New York Times, Lucky Magazine and featured on TV news shows and web casts, this European-style, indoor-outdoor urban antique market features 200 select purveyors of high quality, amazingly priced “finds,” offering unlimited creative inspiration and hours of fun.
Pitchfork Music Festival
Three days each summer finds Union Park teeming with over 50,000 visitors from 45 states and 26 countries for the internationally acclaimed Pitchfork Music Festival. Heralded by music fans for showcasing new and emerging bands, Pitchfork is known for supporting local shops and artists hosting over 50 vendors, as well as specialty fairs.
North Coast Music Festival
Over Labor Day weekend, thousands take over Union Park for a three-day dance party known as the North Coast Music Festival. A mixture of house music, experimental artists and jam bands take the stage in a spectacle appropriately dubbed “summer’s last stand.”
