COVID-19 Guidance From The Department Of Planning And Development

The Department of Planning and Development (DPD) and the Department of Housing (DOH) are closely coordinating with the Mayor’s Office and the Chicago Department of Public Health to assess how City Hall-based staff can continue to provide vital customer services while helping to reduce the impact of COVID-19 in Chicago.

As of March 16, DPD and DOH offices will remain open during normal business hours for walk-in clients. However, visitors are requested to limit in-person visits for business that can be conducted remotely by telephone, conference calls, webinars and other methods.
