CH Distillery to bring some relief to Mexico and Puerto Rico - House Relief party on 10/14

On Saturday, October 14th CH Distillery will be hosting "HOUSE RELIEF" a special night of love and unity help the people of Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Mayra Neria, GM/Director of Events at CH Distillery explains the reasoning behind the event.

"I was actually in Mexico City for the earthquake. I never imagined feeling the ground literally moving beneath my feet” said Neria. “As I stepped on the plane, I began to recall all of the devastation from earthquake and I realized that I had to do something. Call it survivor’s remorse; my new mission was to make a difference and help.”

West Loop resident, long -time Chicago DJ, Edwin Rios aka “Bear Who?” joined the effort in organizing this fundraiser. 19 DJs are on the line up, friends and local businesses are giving us 100% support for the event!

In conjunction with the event CH Distillery and West Loop Community Organization (located at WeWork 220 N Green) will be drop off centers collecting supplies to be donated to the Puerto Rican Cultural Association of Chicago . PRCA will be delivering collected items to Puerto Rico on October 21st.

Supplies being collected are: inspect repellant and diapers

All monetary proceeds from the event will be donated to the Chicago for Mexico and Puerto Rico Relief Fund being organized by The National Museum of Mexican Art (NMMA) and the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance (PRAA).
