A Reminder on the Importance of Community Development Meetings
The West Loop continues to experience a development boom within our community. Each development must undergo a public review process, which involves a presentation of the project to the community at an open meeting. Attendance and participation at these open meetings is crucial. It is an opportunity for the developer to hear the comments and concerns of the community, and it is a powerful format through which your voices can be heard.
While we stream each meeting online, your presence at community development meetings is more impactful and meaningful to the developer presenting. Strong public input can change the course of a project, and we strive every day to represent the needs and goals of the West Loop community. Please consider attending and participating in community development meetings as frequently as possible. We email notifications about each review, and a listing of each event can be found at our online calendar. We look forward to see you there!
Please contact Carla M. Agostinelli, Executive Director, at carla@westloop.org or via telephone at 312.666.1991 with any comments, questions or concerns about the proposed development.
