Service Area: N - Grand Avenue , S - Eisenhower Expressway, E - Chicago River, W - Ashland Avenue

Development Committee Purpose: To support responsible development in the West Loop by working with the Aldermen, developers, local businesses, and residents for all developments requiring zoning changes, Public Place of Amusement (PPAs), Liquor Licenses, etc. The Committee will conduct regularly scheduled monthly meetings to review development proposals and licenses requiring Aldermanic aapproval. When warranted, the Development Committee and WLCO will host Community Meetings open to the public to allow for the presentation of proposed developments and provide an open forum for attendee feedback. The Development Committee will formalize their support or disapproval to such developments and licenses in a written letter to the Alderman. The Development Committee will be chaired by a Board Member who also serves as a member of the Executive Committee.
